"Pinned" is a series exploring an alternate perspective on the iconic image of the Pin-Up Girl. Rather than portraying the female subject as an object of beauty and lust as she has been intended to be as a Pin-Up, she is blatantly objectified to the point of discomfort. She is still beautiful and desirable, but now the viewer sees how she is bound, blinded, or silenced by her pose, her presence, her role, and as her label as a girl, even though she is an accomplished woman.
